Full Time Nanny in Charlottesville, VA Needed ASAP

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care to a 7-month-old baby and assist with light household tasks for a fantastic family with two working professionals. The family also has a 6-year-old in school full time, but the primary focus is the infant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in newborn/infant care, can help with developmental milestones, is reliable, is nurturing, and is able to handle a busy household. Must be a great teammate, and good at communicating. Some traveling with the family will be needed. Candidates who have infant and teaching experience are highly encouraged to apply!

Hourly Rate: $28 - $32
Benefits: Guaranteed hours (40 hours/week), 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick/personal days, major holidays paid and off

Start date: ASAP
Hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Opportunity for More Hours: Occasional Sundays needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infant Care: Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 7-month-old, including feeding, diapering, and helping with developmental milestones.
• Childcare: Occasionally assist with care for a 6-year-old during school hours or when he is home.
• Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children, such as organizing toys and preparing snacks.
• Travel Flexibility: Be open to traveling occasionally, though this is not a primary requirement.

Requirements:

• Verifiable experience with infants.
• Covid-19 Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated.
• Must be willing to sign an NDA if hired.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Provide 3-5 professional, relevant, and verifiable references.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
