Intrepid Studios is looking for a passionate and talented Helpdesk Support Technician, interested in with a studio creating brand new worlds, with a brand new IP. Skills must include the ability to clearly communicate with users at all levels of the organization from artists, engineers, producers, executives, and respond to a variety of helpdesk requests. Proactive, highly motivated individuals welcome. Responsibilities Tier 1 response and triage to IT tickets. Basic administration and troubleshooting of desktop, laptops, and other hardware. Resolving user issues effectively and in a timely manner. Own IT onboarding of newly hired team members. Performing diagnostic tests and proper troubleshooting. Troubleshooting VPN issues. Assist/troubleshoot users in person and remote. Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems as needed. Documenting processes and technical knowledge. Build, modify, and repair custom computers. Receive and verify incoming shipments from various vendors/partners. Facilitate shipping of IT items via UPS. Organize studio’s tech storage facilities. Requirements 2+ years’ experience in IT support in a PC/Windows environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software. Basic understanding of networking. Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and detail oriented Experience in documenting processes. The base salary for this role is between $48,000 - $67,000, depending on skills and experience.
