Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a dedicated and experienced Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week full-time contract in Rome, GA. In this role, youll work with a respected national home health agency, delivering high-quality, compassionate care directly in patients homes. Contract Details: - Location: Rome, GA , and surrounding areas
- Company: Sunbelt Staffing in partnership with Nationwide Home Health Agency
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
- Hours: Full-time, Scheduled 40 hours per week - no guaranteed hours
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
- Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget
- Mileage Reimbursement: .48c from patient home to home, 150-250 miles per week expected
- Weekly Productivity expectations: 25-32per week, up to 35 patients per week
- Blended Pay Packages: Available for travelers
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k match after 90 days
Job Responsibilities
- Regularly assess patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status, documenting changes in condition.
- Clean and dress wounds, monitor for signs of infection, and report any concerns to the supervising RN or physician.
- Perform tasks such as blood draws, tube feedings, and other medical procedures as prescribed by the care plan.
- Follow care plans developed by the supervising RN or physician, adjusting as necessary and communicating any changes.
- Accurately document all patient care activities, assessments, and interactions using Homecare Homebase or similar software.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timeframe, using Homecare Homebase for record-keeping.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
- Proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
