This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building strong relationships with families and children. Nanny Role: Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Child: A 10-month-old daughter requiring attentive, age-appropriate care. Location: Washington, DC (must have access to public transportation). Responsibilities: Provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for the child. Support developmental milestones and maintain the family’s daily schedule. Prepare meals and snacks for the child, ensure cleanliness of play areas, and adhere to nap routines. Schedule: Flexible, with peak childcare demand hours typically between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM on weekdays. Occasional weekend hours are available. Provide professional, on-call backup care for children of various ages, from infants to school-aged children. Travel to family homes and partner hotels in the DC, MD, and VA areas. Must drive own insured vehicle. Deliver exceptional care and maintain high service standards. Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of professional childcare experience (nanny, babysitter, daycare, teaching, etc.). Skills: Expertise in caring for infants through school-aged children. Transportation: Must drive own insured vehicle, have access to public transportation, and an active Uber/Lyft account for emergencies. Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification). Pet-Friendly: Comfortable working in homes with pets. Work Authorization: Clean criminal record and valid work authorization in the U.S. Compensation: $18–$20/hour for corporate sitter work, with bonuses and paid travel incentives.
