Salary: $28-$35
Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions (MAHCS) is currently seeking In-Person Therapists to provide culturally competent and community-based (home and school) individual and family therapy services. A large part of the caseload includes children and adolescents as well as adults, and clients located in Broward County.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate weekly therapy sessions with client/family
- Maintain a minimum caseload of five clients
- Complete progress notes, treatment plan reviews, FARS/CFARS, and discharge summaries following Medicaid standards
- Complete monthly ChildNet reports
- Prepare court reports as needed
- Attend a minimum of monthly supervision with the MAHCS Clinical Supervisor
- Communicate effectively with case managers, referrals sources, and the MAHCS team
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy/Education (MHC, MSW, MFT)
- Bilingual Spanish
- Ability to complete clinically and grammatically correct documentation
- Practical experience with therapeutic models including play therapy, solution focused, and CBT
- Registered Intern with the state of Florida (Preferred)
- At least one year experience working with children who demonstrate behavioral concerns (Preferred)
- Certified in Trauma focused therapy and/or play therapy (Preferred)
