A growing, local CPA firm about 38 years in business, is looking for a Qualified Tax Accountant, Full-Time Mid-level Taxes, to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records and preparing mid to difficult 1040's, 990's, trusts, estates and foreign taxes. Will train! While overtime is required, we believe in quality of life and offer a pleasant work environment. We also provide two tax season BONUSES! One day work from home available after six months.

Responsibilities:

• Have working knowledge of difficult and mid-level 1040s.
• Work with stock trades (as well as the mark to market), home sale worksheets, rental properties, 1031's, and all-state taxes.
• Foreign experience helpful but not required.
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Willing to work overtime and receive two tax season bonuses

• ​ Qualifications:
• Previous income tax experience in accounting or CPA firm
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools (Pro Series or Lacerte helpful but not required)
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
