Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement comprehensive technical training programs across our organization. The Instructional Designer will work closely with regional training managers and subject matter experts to assess training needs, develop learning materials, and deliver training programs to ensure consistent and effective training across all departments and locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global training teams, including course creators, internal trainers, and local training consultants, to deliver unified and impactful training programs.
  • Assess training needs and work with course creators to design and develop engaging materials such as videos, presentations, and other learning resources.
  • Oversee and manage the production of outsourced training content.
  • Facilitate training for internal trainers on global curricula and course content.
  • Design, develop, and implement SCORM-compliant e-learning courses using industry-standard tools.
  • Utilize authoring tools to create interactive and visually appealing learning experiences.
  • Develop instructional design documents, including storyboards, detailed course outlines, scripts, and learning objectives, aligned with training goals and instructional best practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identifying areas for improvements and updating content as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in training and instructional design.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and delivering technical training programs, preferably in a global organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred
  • Knowledge of IT network technologies and recent physical security or video surveillance technologies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Adobe Illustrator, Docebo, MS Office, PowerPoint, and video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or SnagIt is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and timeline management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to deliver technical training programs and collaborate with colleagues globally.
