Position: Interior Design Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA 92606 (Onsite)
Job Type: Full Time
Required Skills & Experience:
- Min 3 years of working experience as a Door Trim DRE in interior engineering.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in automotive Door trim components and subsystems
- Plant support experience required.
- Work with the Styling team to perform feasibility studies, check A-class surface, and define craftsmanship target.
- Ability to create and complete a Door Trim assembly
- Design of automotive parts in CATIA V6.
- Review the inputs received, clarify the input queries. Make a rough initial estimation.
- Good knowledge of Door trim manufacturing processes.
- Develop and execute Door trim system requirements.
