Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

JOB SUMMARY : This internship offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to gain experience in all facets of digital 3D media production, from concept development through final visualization. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of 3D content creation, including look development and animation. This role requires both technical proficiency and artistic sensibility, as well as a collaborative mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow within a professional team environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate on a variety of media projects under general supervision, contributing to the creative and technical execution of 3D content.
• Assist in the creation of detailed 3D models and environmental visualizations to support concept development and design reviews.
• Contribute to the production of high-quality, photorealistic renderings and animations for use in project presentations, proposals, and marketing material.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Animation, Gaming, VFX, Themed Entertainment.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine is required.
• Experience with Houdini and Nuke is highly desirable.
• Basic familiarity with Python scripting or Blueprints is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, ZBrush, Substance Designer, and Substance Painter is preferred.

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
