Job Opportunity: Inventory Control Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Inventory Control Manager for a 3 month or longer contract role with a confidential hospital in El Paso, TX. This role is essential in building, implementing, and maintaining all supply chain system functions within the OR. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving healthcare company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, expedites and manages materials, equipment, instruments and supplies for Perioperative Services.
- Actively participates in creating Bill Only PO's and ensures that charge codes are created for all items which do not currently have a charge code.
- Manages the compilation and maintenance of computerized and manual records for materials inventory, including status and location of inventory.
- Manages and maintains appropriate levels of perioperative services consignment inventory, including surgical implants and implant log.
- Manages the rotating and the removal of all outdated and overstocked materials; verifies PAR levels are adjusted accordingly.
- Confers with Buyers to forecast demand or create supply plans to ensure availability of materials or products.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Experience:
- Five year of experience working in an operating room inventory and materials management area required.
- Three years of management experience required.
