Investment Banking M&A – Sr Analyst or Jr Associate (Chicago | Hybrid)

A long-established boutique investment bank focused on lower-middle-market and middle-market Industrials M&A is seeking a Sr Analyst or Jr Associate to join its growing team in Chicago.

Firm Overview

• 20+ years of successful transactions across Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain sectors

• Typical deal sizes: $50M–$500M EV | $5M–$15M EBITDA

• 9-person team (4 MDs, 3 VPs, 1 Associate, 1 Analyst)

• Hybrid model | ~60–70 hours per week

Role Highlights

• Multiple live mandates and strong deal activity

• Direct MD and VP exposure with full-cycle client interaction

• Heavy modeling, materials, and diligence ownership

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years full-time Investment Banking experience with closed deal reps

• 1–5 years total work experience

• Strong modeling fundamentals , writing, and attention to detail

• Sector interest in Industrials / Transportation / Logistics / Supply Chain

• Other deal-related backgrounds (Big 4 TAS, Corp Dev, PE/VC, Valuation) considered case-by-case

Compensation
Competitive base + bonus, at or above market

• Analyst: $100K–$110K base + Bonus

• Jr Associate: $125K base + Bonus

Note: Only candidates with relevant transaction experience will be considered.
