Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Responsibilities:
Assess the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs) related to financial reporting.
Conduct detailed walkthroughs, interviews, and testing of systems and transactions to ensure compliance.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
Perform internal audit assignments in alignment with the annual audit plan and industry standards.
Prepare thorough documentation of audit work, findings, and supporting evidence.
Develop comprehensive audit reports that include recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and risk assessment frameworks.
Collaborate with teams to address audit findings and implement improvements.
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT auditing. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent is strongly .
At least 5 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or a relevant risk and controls environment.
Familiarity with ITGC, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), J-SOX, and the COSO framework.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with audit software is a plus.
