Our client, a progressive insurance broker, is looking for a skilled IT Technician and Help Desk Specialis t to join their team to provide fast and effective support to their clients.
The individual in the role will be required to respond to queries in person and over the phone, assess and diagnose computer hardware and software problems, and implement effective solutions. You may also be required to modify hardware systems, install computer peripherals, and perform basic computer maintenance.
To ensure success as a help desk specialist, the candidate should have advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware systems, excellent diagnostic skills, and high-level communication skills. Ultimately, a skilled help desk specialist provides fast and effective support over the phone and in person.
A good understanding and knowledge of insurance concepts and terms would be a big plus, and good understanding of Cybersecurity Awareness and threats.
