Major Function:

To provide comprehensive support to the sales manager with respect to sales orders including business partner communication, documentation, and process flow.

Primary Job Duties :

General

• Manage customer inquiries
• Obtain forecast or purchase order from customer and enter into the ERP system
• Send contracts to suppliers
• Receive inventory into accounting system
• Create payment vouchers related to material and logistics costs and confirm costs are appropriate
• Management of the supply chain for customers including checking the status of open orders and in transit inventory
• Preparation of inventory reconciliations
• Physical inventory observations
• Arrange for shipments of material and advise to customer
• Release of inventory from warehouse/port to customer
• Filing claims with mill and/or insurance company
• Manage EDI with business partners
• Manage business partners inquiries and complaints as needed

Import

• Input Draft of L/C application
• Input Draft of L/C amendment
• Approval of non-discrepant letters of credit
• Preparing insurance declarations
• Process import documentation
• Submit HTS requests
• Send broker instruction letter to the broker
• Filing of post summary corrections through broker with compliance department
• Management of Section 232 and Anti-dumping entries
• Sign Bills of Lading

Required Skills/Degrees/Certifications:

• College Degree preferred but not necessary
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Excellent Communication and Problem Solving Skills
