We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team! If you have a passion for visual storytelling and a knack for designing engaging digital assets, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll play a key role in shaping our online presence by designing compelling email templates, eye-catching web banners, and engaging social media content. This is a hybrid position based in Miami, offering the flexibility of both remote work and in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually appealing email templates and layouts that are responsive and brand-consistent.
- Create engaging and effective web banners for various online platforms and campaigns.
- Develop creative and on-brand social media graphics, including static posts, stories, and potentially short animations/videos.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project briefs, target audiences, and campaign goals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Prepare final design files for various digital platforms.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative input.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with a focus on digital design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your experience in email design, web banner design, and social media graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) is a plus.
- Understanding of responsive design principles for email and web.
- Knowledge of social media platform design best practices and dimensions.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to work in a hybrid model in the Miami, FL area.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact).
