Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized Junior House Manager to support the smooth operation of a busy family home. This role will involve assisting with scheduling, coordinating household tasks, and providing general support to ensure daily efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Calendar and Scheduling Assistance:
- Assist in managing the family's calendars, including scheduling appointments and activities.
- Help track medical appointments and maintain communication with relevant parties (e.g., schools, doctors).
Household Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating with household vendors (e.g., cleaners, handymen).
- Help with basic vacation planning, including organizing travel information and reservations.
- Oversee and manage any home projects.
Errand and Organizational Support:
- Perform household errands, including grocery shopping and returns.
- Assist with general household organization and tasks.
Child and Household Support:
- Provide transportation for children to and from school and activities (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Assist with after-school routines, including homework supervision and activity coordination.
- Assist with basic meal preparation and occasional dinner support (recipes provided).
- Provide pet care assistance and occasional house-sitting.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a support role (e.g., childcare, administrative assistance) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable with basic pet care and meal preparation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and willing to learn.
Salary: $85,000-$90,000 But will be paid hourly 1099
