Our client is looking for a dynamic Leasing Agent!
Leasing Agent Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of leasing experience in LIHTC properties
- Strong understanding of LIHTC compliance and affordable housing regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English highly preferred
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage)
- Additional certifications in fair housing or LIHTC compliance a plus
Key Leasing Agent Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and present available units to prospective residents
- Screen applicants and process leasing paperwork in accordance with LIHTC regulations
- Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing guidelines
- Assist with annual recertifications and income verifications
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins with professionalism and warmth
- Collaborate with property management and compliance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in outreach and marketing efforts to maintain occupancy goals
