Reports To: Solo Practitioner 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented  Business Litigation Attorney  to join a dynamic solo legal practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced practitioner on a diverse caseload involving commercial disputes, contract litigation, business torts, and other civil matters. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing cases independently, drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents.
• Assist in case strategy development and trial preparation.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Analyze contracts, business records, and other evidence relevant to litigation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.
• Support the solo practitioner in managing workflow and client communications.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in [Insert State].
• 2+ years of experience in business or commercial litigation preferred.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
