This locum tenens position is for a Gastroenterology Physician providing adult GI consults, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures with 24-hour call coverage. The role includes managing up to 15 patients daily, with admissions and specialized GI treatments like biopsies, polyp removal, and variceal banding. The staffing agency facilitates credentialing, travel, housing, malpractice coverage, and weekly pay deposits, simplifying the assignment process for the physician.

• 24-hour call 7am - 7am Monday coverage
• 15 patients daily with 10 admissions and 4 procedures
• GI consults only adults
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy required
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp removal required
• Variceal injection and banding required
• Foreign body removal and esophageal dilation required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
