Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections • Nights
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team in a corrections facility. This role requires night shifts from 1745•0615, with a commitment of 36/48 hours per week. The position is based on a 13•week contract with the possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities: • Provide high•quality patient care within the scope of the nursing practice. • Float to different units as needed, within a 10•30 minute radius. • Adhere to a 4•week block booking schedule. Requirements: • Must hold a current BLS and IV Therapy Certification. • Must have a Compact or Texas LVN license. • Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience. • At least 1 year of Acute Care or Med Surg experience. • Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych is a plus. • Ability to thrive in a fast•paced environment. • Must be thick•skinned, independent, and avoid participation in internal issues and gossip. • COVID•19 vaccination is required, but exemptions are accepted.
