Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with apartment maintenance and general repairs, is dependable, and takes pride in quality workmanship. This position reports directly to a 40-year veteran in the industry and offers an opportunity to grow while working in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen:
  • Faucet and Sink repair.
• Bathroom
  • Tub, toilet and shower repair
  •  
  • Replace/install light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Light Carpentry
  • Repair door hardware
  • Repair closet doors, bedroom doors
• Drywall Repair
• Complete general handyman tasks and seasonal property upkeep.
• Painting
• Unit turns
• General Maintenance

Requirements

• 5+ years of general maintenance or handyman experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic electrical.
• Must own and maintain personal tools.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.
• Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to follow direction.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and climb ladders as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• 40 hours per week.
• Health insurance through Blue Cross/Blue Shield after 90 day period.
• Start Date: Immediately
