The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing complex contract requirements or hold a DAWIA Level II certification in contracting. This role is responsible for the administration of Operating Company Prime Contracts and First Tier subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The position requires expertise in FAR and DFAR regulations, contract negotiations, cost monitoring, and schedule oversight.

  • Marine Contract Administrator Responsibilities*
  • Oversee and administer Operating Company Prime Contracts and First Tier subcontractor agreements.
  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts in accordance with company policies and Government regulations.
  • Develop and maintain original contract files, monitor production schedules, milestones, and due dates.
  • Process change orders and provide executive-level summaries of technical activities under contract.
  • Ensure compliance with contract deliverables and provide timely reports on contract status.
  • Act as a liaison between subcontractors, government agencies, and project teams.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing input on contract-related matters.
  • Assist in the management of Regulatory Overhaul (ROH), Vessel Repair Availabilities (VRA), and other high-risk Industrial Assistance projects.
  • Marine Contract Administrator Position Requirements*
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and graphics programs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance per contract requirements.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Government or military contract administration.
  • DAWIA Level II certification in contracting (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Three years of experience as a Buyer (preferred).
