Location: Norcross, GA (Hybrid)

Position: Full Time

Pay Rate: Starting at $15 per hour during 90 day probationary period then goes to FT with salary range of 35,000-38,000

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Marketing/Media Associate to join our team. This part-time role will support our marketing efforts through social media management, content creation, and outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in non-profit work and possess a creative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management:

  • Create, schedule, and manage posts across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages.

• Content Creation:

  • Assist in developing marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Write blog posts, articles, and social media content to promote our programs and initiatives.

• Event Promotion:

  • Support the planning and promotion of events through digital marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to create promotional materials.

• Market Research:

  • Conduct research on trends in non-profit marketing and community engagement.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities and outreach strategies.

• Administrative Support:

  • Assist with data entry and maintaining marketing databases.
  • Help track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in or recent graduate of a marketing, communications, or related program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for non-profit work and community service.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies is a plus.

Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work. Flexibility in scheduling is available to accommodate class or other commitments.
