Mechanical Design Engineer
We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative product designs and collaborate across departments to enhance the organizations product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Design: Develop and refine 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software, transitioning from Inventor to Creo.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements.
- Material Expertise: Focus on sheet metal (75%) and piping (15%) designs, with an opportunity to expand into plastics (thermoforming) as needed.
- Project Involvement: Participate in the entire design process, from concept through master assembly, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Entry-level position; some relevant experience or internships preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software; familiarity with Inventor and willingness to learn Creo.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze challenges and develop innovative solutions.
