LHH seeks a Medical Receptionist in Encinitas, CA

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for answering the telephone and all aspects of patient appointment scheduling (initial and return), insurance verification, creation of new patient charts, and maintenance of patient records

  • Provides administrative support for all aspects of closing a patient visit, including obtaining insurance authorization, providing financial counseling for patients.

  • Reviews charge information to ensure accuracy per payer requirements; makes corrections as needed.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verification in the medical field.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent office administrative experience in a healthcare setting

  • A valid driver's license and driving record, required. Reliable transportation

Onsite | M-F| 8a-5 pm | Contract to hire

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
