In partnership with our client, a global leader in metals manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced NDT Level I or II located in the Blytheville, AR area. The ideal candidate will perform quality NDT evaluations on material. These evaluations are performed by direction of procedures which reflect customer requirements. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Schedule: This position will be required to work on a ROTATING shift.

SEA Inspector Pipes (WMPI/MPI): Performs magnetic particle inspection on pipe ends (SEA), identifying and marking rejected parts, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

• Executes magnetism set up
• Performs magnetic field verification
• Verifies the concentration of fluids
• Carries out the identification and marking of rejected parts for subsequent cutting
• Performs quality reports of pipes notifying the defects found
• Carries out pipe repairs and reinspection

Prove Up Inspector (MPI): Performs Magnetic Particle Inspection on pipes, deciding their approval or rejection, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

• Performs Magnetic Particle Inspection on pipes
• Carries out grinding to repair pipes
• Measures pipes wall thickness after pipe repairs
• Carries out the identification and marking of rejected parts for subsequent cutting
• Makes the decision of approving or rejecting pipes in accordance to quality requirements
• Performs quality reports of pipes notifying the defects found.
