Job Summary

Supervise and control flight?handling activities such as flight editing, check?in, transfers, and boarding to ensure a high service standard. Achieve optimum customer satisfaction and on?time departure of flights. Manage flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding, and deputize Airport Services Staff and/or Airport Representative.

Key Responsibilities


  • Constant liaison with check?in, transfer desk, and other related areas for the smooth acceptance of passengers.
  • Liaise with check?in, transfer desk, and support Airport Services Agents in all areas.
  • Escort and direct arriving/departing passengers to the respective areas such as hotel desk, visa counter, transfer desk, premium lounges, and boarding gates.
  • Assist passengers with entry requirements, visas, residence permits, etc.
  • Assist staff in handling company material and records.
  • Ensure passengers are assisted smoothly through airport facilities.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring efficient and effective operation of the work unit.
  • Meet performance targets.
  • Ensure progress toward on?time flight closure and passenger boarding; supervise airport team in achieving on?time performance.
  • Facilitate ramp?handling activities in liaison with GHA, caterers, fuels, maintenance, cargo, and crew to expedite departure; work with all departments to ensure on?time performance.
  • Utilize maximum resources by planning efficient duty allocation for customer service agents; ensure efficient use of manpower during duty period.
  • Review aircraft allocations according to movement signals / late arrivals / loads, etc.; ensure all departments are aware of operational messages and requirements.
  • Provide support to Airport Services Duty Officer in case of flight disruptions, misconnections, and denied boarding; ensure passengers receive all possible facilities and full support during any disruption on shift.
  • Any other operational tasks/responsibilities as may be assigned by the Airport Services Manager.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced customer relations training such as Passenger Services (Altea), Baggage Services (World Tracer), Ground Operations (GSM/GOM), Dangerous Goods Regulations, weight and balance, sound knowledge of Amadeus Reservations & Ticketing, including ID/AD tickets.
  • High computer literacy.
  • 5 years of job?related experience required.
  • You must have the legal right to live and work in the United States.
