Order Picker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have order selecting and inventory management, with the ability to handle construction materials and operate various warehouse equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Select orders based on client needs, focusing on construction materials.
• Lift and move inventory weighing up to 50 lbs from racks to trucks and back using a ride-along pallet jack.
• Track inventory using SAP and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Work collaboratively in a busy warehouse environment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Essential Skills:

• 1 year of order selecting experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 lbs.
• 1 year of experience operating electrical warehouse equipment.
• 6 months of computer inventory experience similar to SAP.
• Experience in receiving and handling inventory.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and SAP is a plus.

Work Environment:

This position is located in a true warehouse environment, where candidates will pick and pack orders according to customer specifications. The warehouse is clean, organized, and equipped with forklifts and other essential equipment. Work hours are 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enfield, CT.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
