Medical Facilities is looking for Locum - PA - Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in Troy, NY

JOB DESCRIPTION - 54,000 annual volumes
- 20% admission rate, representing 60% of total hospital admissions
- 44 bed ED
- Physician coverage: 45 hours per day
- Scribe coverage: 48 hours per day
- EPIC EMR
- Dragon voice recognition dictation is also utilized
- ED Ultrasound
- Highly regarded ED nursing staff.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS - Must be PA or NP trained/certified along with 2+ years of ED experience managing all levels of acuity
- Must have NY license and DEA at time of presentation
- Must have clean malpractice/background for temp privs
- Must be Board Certified EM
- Must send self-query NPDB and EPA with presentation
AS A REMINDER:
- All candidates must have met the minimum shift availability listed on the job.
- CV must have all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format
- Work History must be in Sequential order with most resent-on top
- Any Gaps over 30 days must be explained on the CV
- All Licenses, Boards and Certs with expiration dates must be listed on CV
- Anyone with malpractice must provide a NPDB
- Anyone with legal issues must provide supporting documents
Availability
- 1st possible date they would be available?
- How many shifts would they be able for per month?
- What month is their schedule completely open?
- Any shift preferences (Day, Night, Blocksetc)?
- Any dates in the next 3-6 months they cant work?
- Any Holidays in the next 3-6 months they would be open to work.?
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - ACLS
- BLS
- Board Certified
- DEA
- PALS
