Job Title: Packaging Engineer

Location: Waco, TX

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension.

Pay Rate: $30-$38/hr.

Typical task breakdown:

The Packaging Engineer 2 will work to provide engineered solutions to preserve part integrity through warehousing and production processes.

• Collaboration with suppliers to provide engineered packaging solutions
• Collaboration with internal process partners to provide engineered packaging solutions
• Design packaging solutions in Creo or other modeling software
• Document packaging specifications
• Analyze business plans and proposals to provide cost effective solutions

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Discipline in Packaging Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain, or Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and 2-4 years’ experience.

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Intermediate computer skills (Office 365, Email, Task Specific Software…)
• Ability to use 3D modeling software
• Data analysis
