We are currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician / Make Ready Technician to join our team in Hermitage, TN 37076

As a Maintenance/ Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for property maintenance: Curb appeal, service requests. Ensuring vacated apartments are market ready and available to rent: Apartment turnovers , performs preventative maintenance and relations with associates, contractors, and team members. A minimum of 6 months maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Tackle facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC repairs, appliance troubleshooting, and more. EPA Certification is a plus!
• Knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical work, drywall repairs, and painting.
• Receive "make ready" assignments and properly gather all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies needed to make a unit ready.
• Evaluate carpet and vinyl, baseboards, trim, doors and windows and replace / repair as needed.
• Estimate time and extent of repairs in vacant units.
• Perform painting duties.
• Polish and varnish cabinets and other woodwork as needed
• Repair holes in walls and perform painting duties as needed
• Respond to service calls to make less technical repairs or replacements
• Install and finish drywall and paneling as needed.
• Work with all levels of staff on related projects and duties as assigned.
• Maintain work order system, logs, and other records as needed.
• Maintain material and supply inventory.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance, construction or other related fields like remodeling.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
