Physical Therapy Tech - FT

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and preparing treatment areas and equipment before and after treatment.
2. Assisting patients to move from room to room.
3. Arranging and filling supplies and laundry.
4. Performing clerical tasks to assist Receptionist, such as answering phone, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, filing, entering charges.
5. Assist with contacting insurances for benefits, eligibility, and authorizations.
6. Handling and assisting patients with necessary paperwork .
7. Relay patient information to licensed therapy staff as needed.
8. Assist therapist with patient care as directed within the scope of on-the-job training provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent with some college coursework and prior demonstrable experience preferred.

Experience: Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication and listening skills.
