Bishop & Company is recruiting for a highly organized and detail-oriented Preservation Projects Coordinator with our non-profit client located in Honolulu, HI. Preservation Projects Coordinator #21786
About the Role: You will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and reporting for various projects, as well as contributing to impactful communications, outreach, and engagement programs. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for non-profit work and program management, including development, planning, execution, and evaluation.
Responsibilities: - Organize, facilitate and implement effective programs
- Plan, implement, and develop reports on multiple programs
- Prepare materials for Request for Proposals
- Ensure program compliance with appropriate state and county regulations and statutes
- Facilitate, track and support grants provided to other programs
- Reconcile financial records
- Organizing awards events including scheduling, budgeting, soliciting and managing nominations, data management, event logistics
- Contribute to communications, outreach and public engagement programs
- Respond to phone and email inquiries
Requirements: - Previous experience in program development and management including budgets, financial reports, monitor progress and results, and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of programs
- Strong technical proficiency in a Windows platform
- Knowledge in historic preservation, cultural resource management, architectural history
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in historical preservation, archaeology, business administration, engineering, architecture, or similar disciplines
- Driver's license and ability to travel for work.
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Schedule: 20-40 hours/week, Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pay: $28/hr
Location: Iwilei
