About the role: As a Principal Electrical Engineer , you will report to the Manager of Electrical, Control, and I&C Integration and work independently and as part of a team providing engineering design for nuclear products and projects. This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Columbia, SC. Key Responsibilities: Independent engineering design for nuclear including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring. Use Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or similar. Interface with internal groups obtaining information. Plan and schedule work to meet requirements. Use appropriate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. 5+ years' overall engineering design experience in: Electrical systems design. Instrumentation and controls design (I&C). System Wiring. Experience with Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or similar. Experience in creating design documents including calculations and specifications.
