We are a reputable law firm in Worthington, Ohio, seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Probate Legal Secretary / Probate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting attorneys with probate and estate administration matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and filing probate documents.
- Manage deadlines and monitor and track case progress, alerting attorneys to critical deadlines.
- Coordinate communication with clients, court personnel, and financial institutions.
- Assist with estate administration tasks, including gathering and valuing assets, managing creditors, and distributing assets.
- Maintain and organize client files, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.
- Draft correspondence and maintain client communication throughout the probate process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in probate law or estate planning is strongly preferred.
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with clients.
