Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Baker to assist in the preparation and production of our handcrafted cookies, brownies, and other specialty products. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a bakery or commercial kitchen, with a passion for creating consistent, high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Preparation: Follow detailed recipes to produce cookies, brownies, Snackies, and other Nowhere Bakery items.
  • Daily Production: Complete daily baking tasks, including dough preparation, portioning, baking, and cooling.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product consistency and appearance, ensuring high standards are maintained across all batches.
  • Sanitation & Safety: Follow all food safety guidelines (ServSafe standards) and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate any shortages to the Head Baker or production manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the production and packing teams to ensure baked goods are prepared on time for packaging and shipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly clean and maintain baking equipment, tools, and workstations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery is required
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (ServSafe certification is required).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes and processes accurately.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, MUST be available on Wednesdays
  • Occasional overtime may be required during peak production periods.
