Project Manager (Onsite)

Location : Downtown Houston

Work Schedule : Full-time, onsite 5 days a week

Duration : Initial 6 Month Contract with possibility of extension

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing project financials, including P&L, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a candidate who can effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders while ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Run and oversee Project P&L, including managing costs and budgets.
• Provide in-depth analysis of project financials, including understanding cost variance, estimate at completion (EAC), and estimate to complete (ETC).
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
• Utilize Microsoft Project for project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and adheres to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls.
• Address and resolve project issues and risks in a timely manner.
• Ensure all projects meet organizational quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years of current experience managing projects, with a strong focus on project financials and P&L.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a high-demand environment.
• Strong understanding of project financials, including managing budgets, cost estimates, and forecasting.
• Ability to ask detailed, critical questions about project costs, financial forecasts, and completion projections.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Familiarity with project documentation and SOX compliance is a plus but not required.
• Must be onsite 5 days a week. No option for Hybrid or Remote.
