Job Description
Looking for a Proofreader local to Long Island, NY to join the Graphic Arts and Printing Service team. This is an onsite position and applicant must be fully vaccinated in order to be onsite.
- Proofreading skills (Review documents for grammar, spelling, and style)
- Basic graphic design skills (which include making modifications to existing documents or setting up simple business cards and letterheads)
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task or switch between work quickly
- Attention to detail
- Deadline-oriented
- Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software knowledge
- Time-management skills
- Communication skills (answer calls from customers and provide updates on job status)
- Proofreading skills (Review documents for grammar, spelling, and style)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Computer literate (will need to work on different platforms)
- Check jobs that are printed to ensure that everything is printed correctly
