We’re on the lookout for a passionate, dedicated Public Interest Attorney to join a wonderful public interest law firm's team in Columbia, SC! If you’re ready to advocate for low-income clients and make a real impact in underserved communities, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Represent low-income clients in various civil litigation matters, including social security, housing, family law, and more
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies
  • Lead hearings, trials, and appeals
  • Conduct legal research and write compelling briefs and motions
  • Collaborate with a dynamic, supportive team dedicated to justice

What We’re Looking For:

  • A J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the SC Bar in good standing
  • A commitment to public interest, social justice, and serving diverse communities
  • Strong research, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
