Responsible for designing test plans, test scenarios, creation and execution of test cases. Developing and maintaining test scripts, analyzing bugs, and interacting with development team members to fix defects. Experience in client/server and web application testing. Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities: Writing detailed and accurate test cases, test scripts, and documenting test results. Identifying impact of new functionalities and enhancing automation. Documenting and tracking defects to closure. Collaborating with teams to understand automation needs and implementing solutions. Must Haves: 5-10 years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer/Test Engineer/Test Analyst. Hands-on testing experience (script-based and exploratory). Experience in testing Microsoft platform upgrades and platform compatibility. SQL and data retrieval experience from relational databases is a plus. Knowledge of VSTS and basic understanding of MTM.
