JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a team of quality control inspectors across receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
- Determine and distribute assignments, responsibilities, and priorities for quality control personnel.
- Perform assessment of employee performance and execution of tasks, including adherence to applicable industry standards and engineering documentation.
- Generate and train on inspection criteria, work instructions, and quality documentation for overall product quality.
- Support material review board (MRB) and serve as escalation path for nonconformance dispositioning.
- Monitor and analyze nonconformance data and drive achievement of metric goals.
- Drive root cause and corrective action for systemic issues and other quality investigations.
- Train and mentor employees on company processes and procedures including use of supporting systems.
- Communicate across disciplines (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, etc.) to enable daily operations.
- Perform regular audits of departments and production areas for applicable procedures and requirements including FOD and ESD control.
- Identify and implement areas for process improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree required, engineering or related degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
- Aerospace/electronics manufacturing background
- Must have background in electronics manufacturing with root cause manufacturing.
- Ability to resolve issues without being advised.
