Responsibilities
- Champion Packaging & Distribution Inc is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- This key position is responsible for supervising lab technicians and line auditors, developing direct reports, and managing lab and line coverage
- The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional departments to maintain regulatory, customer, and company requirements
- Supervise and provide leadership to lab techs and line auditors">
- Develop direct reports and manage their performance">
- Manage lab and line coverage, including willingness to work off shifts if needed">
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance to regulatory, customer, and company requirements">
- Review daily production schedule and adjust the quality department's schedule to ensure testing and reporting are met">
- Maintain proper lab supply inventory levels">
- Review testing data/investigate out of spec results and escalate out of spec data">
- Assist in customer complaint investigations">
- Oversee quality programs and assist with implementation">
- Review and maintain COAs for incoming truck deliveries">
- Assist with continuous improvement projects">
- Assist in hiring and training employees">
- Evaluate team members' adherence to GMPs and GDPs">
