To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
- Develop and document a short and long-term quality plan identifying objective that address the highest priority elements of the quality system.
- Identification and analysis of total quality costs including prevention, appraisal, internal and external costs and for formulating action plans to reduce these cost.
- Has the authority to deem the product meets the intent of the customers' expectations.
- Provide a preventative method of controlling quality through SPC, problem solving and prevention techniques, i.e., inspection of raw material, work in process and finished goods.
- Auditing vendor's ongoing quality control systems and participate in quality review audits.
- Management representative for IATF16949
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining IATF16949 and ISO9001 Certification.
This full-time, salary role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Plant Manager.
Required experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;
- Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF 16949, ISO9001:2015 and ISO-14001 procedures.
- Quality Management and or Management experience is required.
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries or complaints.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- QMS and QAD skill is a plus.
- Ability to work with Gauges, Micrometers, Calipers, and Scales.
