Job Description

We are excited to partner with a leading metal fabrication and machining company in central North Carolina to hire a Quality Manager . This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical professional who is passionate about enhancing quality control processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring production meets the company’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized quality, production, and customer service processes to maintain excellence.
  • Conduct internal and external audits , ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and preventive action strategies .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  • Interpret and transcribe blueprints, analyze tolerances and measurements , and provide training on blueprint reading.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working with ISO 9001 standards and conducting audits.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and measurement analysis.
