Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quarry Equipment Operator/ Working Manager to oversee the daily operations of our quarry site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient extraction of materials while maintaining safety standards and compliance with regulations. This role requires strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to operational excellence in the mining industry.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of quarry operations, including production planning, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee the extraction process, utilizing heavy equipment operation techniques to maximize efficiency in material dig and transport.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and implement necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any operational challenges that may arise.
Skills
- Proven experience in quarry management or related field with a strong understanding of mining operations.
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in operational processes.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, particularly OSHA standards, is essential for maintaining compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
