What You’ll Do
- Deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments, ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity
- Operate and monitor therapeutic equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions
- Support special procedures, clinical training, and onboarding of new therapists and students
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment parameters, and billing codes
- Provide coverage for emergencies, weekends, and multiple radiation oncology locations as required
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology
- ARRT Certification and Connecticut Licensure (required)
- BLS Certification (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of radiation therapy experience, including 1–3 years in radiation oncology
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, assist patients with mobility, and work in high-stress clinical environments
