The Radiation Therapist will administer ionizing radiation treatments for cancer patients and must demonstrate strong clinical knowledge across radiation oncology, including radiobiology, treatment planning, radiation physics, safety, and patient care.

The role supports advanced technologies, including TrueBeam, HDR/LDR brachytherapy, SBRT, SRS, 4D CT, Vision RT, and advanced imaging systems .

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Treatment Delivery

• Administer radiation treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans.
• Conduct patient setup, positioning, immobilization, and verification imaging.
• Deliver treatments per protocols and established radiation oncology standards.

Technical & Operational

• Perform treatment simulations (preferred experience).
• Operate modern radiation therapy systems, including TrueBeam, electron/photon therapy, HDR/LDR brachytherapy, orthovoltage/superficial treatments, SRS, SBRT, and 4D CT planning.
• Utilize EMR systems (Mosaiq experience highly preferred).
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.

Patient Care & Collaboration

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, sensitive to psychosocial aspects of cancer.
• Communicate effectively with oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursing teams.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Certification as R.T.(T) and ongoing maintenance of credential.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, physics, oncology, and treatment procedures.
