Job Description
A Successful Recruiter is responsible for utilizing pre-established methods to source and recruit candidates to fill contract, contract to hire and/or direct hire job orders for DSS clients. Assists with building and maintaining a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs. This role is housed in our Gwinnet branch and is NOT remote.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes sourcing strategies by utilizing various recruiting tools & platforms
Administers job postings across various platforms
Interviews and qualifies candidates against knowledge, skills and abilities
Utilizing Assessment and Personality testing
Enters and tracks placements and/or candidate data in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Builds and maintains relationships with candidates
Responds to candidate and/or temporary employee inquiries as necessary
Completes candidate hiring/onboarding processes, with 100% accuracy, in accordance with client/organizational requirements
Begins to build and maintain knowledge of target industries, clients and roles
Builds a candidate pipeline in the focus job functions agreed upon by the branch
Maintains relationship with Business Development Manager to prepare for upcoming job orders
Assists with job fairs and other recruiting events
Completes other administrative tasks as required
Conducts pre-employment screening and reference checks as needed
Facilitates employee orientation training and client-specific testing

Ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations
Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems
Proficient with Google/Chrome products
Proven ability to work within a team environment
Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan
Detail orientation with follow-through shown in previous jobs
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year of recruiting or other relevant experience is required. Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working in the staffing or human resources solutions industries is highly desirable.
