Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Experienced Travel Nurse Recruiter to source, engage, and place top nursing talent in travel assignments nationwide. The ideal candidate must have experience working on Vendor Management System (VMS) orders, be results-driven, highly organized, and passionate about matching healthcare professionals with the best opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
•Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, and place registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and allied healthcare professionals in travel assignments.
•VMS Order Management: Work with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) to manage job orders, submit candidates, and ensure timely placements.
•Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, database mining, networking, and cold calling to build a strong pipeline of candidates.
•Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel nurses to ensure a positive experience before, during, and after assignments.
•Credentialing Support: Assist candidates in gathering required documentation, ensuring compliance with client and healthcare facility requirements.
•Negotiation & Offer Management: Present job offers, negotiate pay rates, and provide details on benefits, housing, and travel stipends.
•Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and state licensure requirements.
•Collaboration: Work closely with account managers and the operations team to fulfill client needs and ensure timely placements.
Qualifications & Experience
•Experience: 2+ years in healthcare staffing, nurse recruiting, or related recruitment experience with hands-on VMS order management experience (REQUIRED).
•Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using applicant tracking systems (ATS), VMS platforms, and CRM tools.
•Self-Motivated: Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
•Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
