The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Ortho/Spine unit involves providing nursing care to orthopedic patients with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation of care. This temporary role offers a flat rate compensation of $50 for a 13-week assignment with 3 shifts per week, caring for patients post-surgery and those with low-level cardiac issues. A current RN license and BLS certification are required, with preference given to candidates with prior healthcare experience.
Overview:Compensation
Ortho/Spine is a 32 bed unit specializing in orthopedic patients. We have disease specific certification from the Joint Commission in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement and Hip Fx patients which deems us a center of excellence. We also care for Total Shoulder and Ankle patients as well as other fractures. We also care for low level cardiac patients and some med-surg patients.
